Dr. Britt
Owner/ Physical Therapist
Britt is a Board certified Doctor of Physical Therapy with a Masters in Clinical Anatomy and Physiology, and a Bachelors in Health Sciences. She attended the University of Delaware where she studied at the #1 Physical Therapy Program in the Nation. She has experience in outpatient sports/orthopedics and home health. Britt has also spent time during clinical rotations in additional orthopedic, sport specific, neurological/older adults, and inpatient rehabilitation settings. She has gained knowledge and experience treating a variety of musculoskeletal and neurological conditions. She also became certified in blood flow restriction therapy and learned how to combine manual techniques with personalized exercise prescription to achieve the best possible results for her patients.
Britt is a former collegiate athlete for LIU Post D2 Women's lacrosse team, National Champions 2012. During her time there she earned accolades as first team all American, all region, all conference and defensive player of the year. She also played high school volleyball, cross country, and basketball. Currently she is a CrossFit and cycling enthusiast and continues to play recreational sports. Her past as a competitive athlete in high level settings fuels her compassion and diligence to her patients. Britt understands the physical, emotional, and mental importance of being able to participate in one's activity of choice and has devoted her career to helping people achieve this.
